Let’s go deeper

In our earlier topics, we used a tape measure and some simple examples to get some of the fundamentals down – and this helped us tackle some key concepts from first principles. In turn, that set the stage for an introduction to the three key math models commonly used in geospatial applications.

Now we know enough to properly consider what are the disciplines and topics of data, statistics, probability, and estimation, which is what we’ll do here.
